REGULAR MEETING

BANKS TOWNSHIP HALL

APRIL 10, 2006

Present: Boss, Bj Peters, Olach, Ruis and M. Drenth.

Absent: Campbell, M. Peters and Jeff Skeel

Other: Janice Drost and Jerry Rasmussen

Meeting called to order by Boss at 7:00 p.m.

1. Motion by BJ Peters/Ruis to accept the March 2006 minutes with corrections. CARRIED.

Public:

Janice Drost: Wanting to know the budget for the flowers for the pots around town. Council suggests the same as last year of about $450.00.

Planning Commission: Updating the Master Plan; hoping to be close to completion at the next meeting.

Discussions:

a. Opening of Wooden Shoe Park: the park is due to open on May the 15th

b. Bank Update: Bank is scheduled to open on May 24th

c. Main St. Reconstruction--Gosling/Czubek: some updates to the blue print to

meet MDOT requirements.

d. River Park Update: no information

e. Community Park Project: The grant was sent in to the State on March 31, 2006

f. “Resolution on Water Available for Village Residents Only” is on file.

2.Motion by BJ Peters/Ruis to accept committee members for the 2006-07 fiscal year. CARRIED.

3.Motion by Ruis/BJ Peters to pay the bills

4. Motion by Ruis/BJ Peters to adjourn at 7:30. CARRIED
