Boss opened meeting at 7:00 p.m.

A short discussion on the budget was held.

Meeting called to order by Boss at 7:10 p.m.

1. Motion by Olach/Ruis to except the January 2006 minutes as presented. CARRIED.

Public Input: Vanessa Rubingh: Presented information for Jerry Zandstra who in a candidate for State Senator and will be speaking at the Ellsworth Town Hall on Tuesday, February 28, at 9:00 a.m.

Streets:

D.P.W.

Park: Grant: Denied-John Rowe from U.P.E.A. Gave information on the resent Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant (MNRTF) program, and also gave information on how we could increase our overall score on the next application.

Public Meeting on the Community Park and Grant information is set for March 9^th, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Banks Township Hall.

Planning Commission: Working on updating the Village of Ellsworth t Master Plan.

Finance Committee:

2. Motion by Ruis/Olach to approve the 2006/07 budget as presented. CARRIED

Action Items:

3. Motion by Olach/Skeel to approve MC Planning and Design write a grant from Rural Arts and Culture Program for the new street lamp posts, lights, etc. on Main Street providing the the Grant is at least a 50/50 match. CARRIED.

4. Motion by Skeel/Ruis to pay the bills. CARRIED.

5. Motion by Ruis to adjourn. CARRIED 8:30 p.m.
