Motion by B. Peters/Ruis
to accept the December 2006 minutes as presented. CARRIED.

Commission: Secretary Sandy Alward resigned as Panning Commission
secretary. Council will advise the
Planning Commission Chairman to appoint someone to replace her.
Finance Committee: Budget
Committee to meet Tuesday night 7:00 p.m. January 11, 2006 at the Banks
Township Hall.
Action Items:
Council recommended to the finance committee that Village employeeÕs wages to be increased by 3.4 %.
2. Motion by Boss/Peters to have wages be as follows for 2005 / 2006
Tex Drenth from $14.34 to $ 14.83
Al Donaldson from $ 10.28 to
$ 10.63
Andy Ross from $ 10.28 to
10.63
Police from $ 10.80 to $ 11.17
Clerk from $ 10,908.00 to $ 11,279.00
Treasure from $ 3078.00 to $ 3183.00 CARRIED.
3. Motion by Ruis/Boss to appoint BJ Peters as Summer Rec. Director. CARRIED
Streetscape Committee is as follows Cindy Ruis, BJ Peters, Alana Haley and Hellen Allen.
LWCF and NRTF grants for the Community Park, the Village were turned down again.
4. Motion by B. Peters/Boss to hire U.P. Engineering & Architects to resubmit the LWCF and NRTF grant applications for the Community Park at a cost of $ 3500.00. CARRIED.
A town meeting will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at
Banks Township Hall starting at 7:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to update the public on the reconstruction
of Main Street from the South Village Limits to Church Street scheduled for the
year 2006 and to address any questions or concerns that people might have. The extension of the water main south
on Main St. to the village limits
and the updating of the service lines from Lincoln to the extension during this
time will be on the agenda.
5. Motion by Ruis/B Peters to pay the bills. CARRIED
