Committee presented the 2008-2009 budget.
A short discussion on the budget was held.

1. Motion by Olach/Skeel to accept the
January 2008 minutes as presented. CARRIED.

parking problems on Center St.

2. Motion by
Rasmussen/Vollmer to accept the 2008-09 budget for the Village of Ellsworth as
presented by the Finance Committee. CARRIED

3. Tabled the ending of
the temporary turn off on the
streets lights (3) on the corner of Main
and Center Street and the alleyways north and south until the March
meeting.
Discussion:
Council discussed
having the Clerk pay 4 of Consumer electric bills that have a due date of the
13th of month on the first of each month to avoid late fees.
Update lease with the D.N.R. to be voted
on and signed at the March 2008 meeting.
John Rowe, from UPEA
presented the new restroom building plans, new size of the pavilion and
the updated estimated costs of each item of the project to the village
council.
4. Motion by
Skeel/Olach to pay the bills as presented. CARRIED 6-0
5. Motion by Skeel /Rasmussen to adjourn
at 8:20 p.m.
