REGULAR MEETING

Present: Campbell, Olach, Rasmussen, Vollmer, Seese M. Drenth and Ron Boss

Absent: Skeel.

Other: Jeff Kessler and Bob Daunter.

Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:00 a.m.

1. Motion by Olach/Vollmer to approve the November 2008 minutes as presented. CARRIED. 6-0

2..Motion by Rasmussen/Boss for Office Daunter to order ID Cards for the Village Police Officers at the cost of $6.00 per ID. CARRIED 6-0

Planning Commission:

Finance Committee: Budget meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Banks Township Hall.

Recreation Report: No Report

Discussion Items:

Wooden Shoe Holiday Fest lighting of the Christmas Tree is at 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. December 11, 2008.

Banners for the new light poles were discussed.

The C48 Breezeway task force committee received a $20,000.00 grant for marketing from the State of Michigan plus another $5,000.00 if committee includes Boyne Falls.

Action Items

3. Motion by Rasmussen/Olach to pay for the decretive street lamps with 12 monthly payments

of $3,772.67. CARRIED 6-0

4. Motion by Rasmussen/Vollmer to contract with American Waste if the contract with W/M

expires Jan. 2009. CARRIED 6-0

5. Motion by Olach/Boss to pay the bills as presented. CARRIED 6-0

6. Motion by Olach/Boss to adjourn at 7:20 p.m.
