Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:00 p.m.

1. Motion by Olach/Vollmer to accept the August 2009 minutes as presented. CARRIED. 7-0

Public: Tim Underwood manager of the Ellsworth Farmers Exchange proposed purchase of property from the Village for the purpose of building a new service garage. Property is located south of the Exchange property on the abandon portion of Elm St and the old C&O railroad right of way.

Departmental Reports:

Police: Officer Trisha Pratt has resigned as a Village part time officer. Chief the Daunter presented Officer John Morris to the council as a replacement. Council to consider Office Morris for this vacancy at the October meeting.

2. Motion by Campbell/Rasmussen to reappoint J. Klooster and Brian Certa whose terms are expiring. New terms to expire 2012. CARRIED 7-0

Campbell to get information on having 5 members on the Planning Commission and not 7 that we have now.

Parks: The park revenue for the 2009 camping season was $ 26,535.00.

Discussed the quote of $2895.16 from Follansbee Dock Systems for Hardware and Atwood Lumbers quote of $1364.94 for materials for the Fishing Pier

Farmers Market is doing well.

Christmas Tree Lighting: Banks Township decided not to light the Christmas Tree this year.

2. Motion by Rasmussen/Boss to purchase gift certificates $100.00 each to Chet Drenth and Judy Worgess for their time spent on the flowers. CARRIED. 7-0

4. Motion by Olach/Boss to pay the bills as presented. CARRIED. 7-0

5. Motion by Rasmussen to adjourn at 8:10 P.M.
